Historia
The story is set in the Taisho era. Tsukiko, the only daughter of a Japanese confectionery shop, lives happily as the shop's poster girl. But one day, while Tsukiko is out, the shop burns down in a fire. Having lost both her beloved parents and now all alone, Tsukiko tries to make a living as a Japanese confectioner, but has difficulty finding a shop that will hire her. Eiju, the heir to the Ryusen family, extends a helping hand to Tsukiko. Eiju resembles Kohaku, a boy she once loved, and proposes a contract marriage to Tsukiko. Tsukiko accepts the proposal, but...
