Mortals carry the pestilence within their bodies and once immortals come into contact with it, the best outcome is a drop in cultivation while the worst would be a return of their Dao to Heaven itself. Thus, immortals and mortals are forever divided. I crossed into this world filled with boundless ambition, yet could only struggle and flounder in the mortal realm, wasting away an entire lifetime.
