"Your 'curses' are nothing but 'blessings' to me." In this modern world, tower-like dungeons known as "Matenrou" have appeared all over the world. Our protagonist, Takamichi Yoshito, is a convenience store clerk who feels miserable, constantly being yelled at by the store manager. Dreaming of making a fortune, Yoshito becomes a "conqueror" of the towers shortly after the skyscrapers appear. However, he has no savings to invest in weapons and equipment, and falls completely behind as a conqueror.
